Corrosion / Cathodic Protection Technician

Experienced in cathodic protection and pipeline construction

Work independently and with a helper, working and scheduling closely with a pipeline representative

Some travel required, but mainly based in the Maryland area.

Skills:

-       Must be able to manage miss utility tickets (MD, VA, PA, NJ, NY)

-       Time management and organization

-       Communication skills

-       Writing and note-taking skills, along with completing a daily work report

-       Basic understanding of Excel & Microsoft

-       Be able to use a multimeter, take pipe-soil readings, how to read a rectifier safely, understand how Cathodic Protection systems function, troubleshoot Cathodic Protection systems & rectifiers

-       How to locate broken & unbroken cable

-       Basic electrical wiring ability 240v & 120v

This position does require manual labor

Equipment operator experience is a plus

Work area: VA, MD, PA, NJ
